Experimenting with Shop the Look Pins and Widgets

Hello. Today I am experimenting with widgets and looks from an affiliate marketing program. It's probably glaringly obvious that I am a novice at this. (Or, it'll be glaringly obvious by the time you and I get to the end of my experiment.)  But if I don't give it a try, I'll never learn, right? So bear with me, dear Readers, as I take a deep breath and see what damage I cause.

Drum roll, please. I keep seeing all these whimsical items made by Mackenzie Childs so I started pulling all of them together to see how they all go together. This is not the complete list, by far. There are some really cute pieces.

So, here I have put together a widget you can scroll through to see a variety of pieces. Although now part of the widget, I think that people could click through any image to be taken to a place where that particular item can be purchased.  (Or, you could just scroll through the widget and enjoy each picture. Of course, no purchase is necessary🙂.)

Here's the widget, with several pages to scroll through. See how the items all work together, combining the black and white check with the colorful accents and designs?

Someone could have a lot of fun using these pieces throughout their home or a room.

Now that I made a widget, next I'm going to try to do a Shop the Look pin thingamajig.

Hmmmm.  No such luck with that. I can't quite figure out how to make this into a Shop the Look pin, although I think this link will go to the Look page. Not quite what I was going for ... possibly/probably I need to do some more research!

Well, thanks for humoring me on my learning curve. If I do manage to fix it, I'll come back and update the post. I hope you enjoyed seeing the many Mackenzie Childs pieces together. Meanwhile, as always: This post was proofread by Grammarly
