New Deborah Harkness book announced

I read some exciting news on EW.com. Deborah Harkness has a new book releasing in September. It's called Time's Convert and it's all about Matthew's son Marcus and his human and vampire story - past and present.

I immediately went to Amazon and pre-ordered my copy. It's going to be a long wait until the end of September.

I loved Marcus in Ms. Harkness's All Souls Trilogy and I am thrilled to learn more about him and, eventually, Phoebe. She's filling in the gaps in their story from the trilogy. It made sense that we didn't hear much about Marcus and Phoebe's relationship when there was so much to focus on with Matthew and Diana's story, but so much happened with Phoebe and Marcus off the page, so to speak - one day they meet; then, the next time they appear together, they're engaged. Inquiring minds want to know the good stuff. And this sounds like seriously good stuff:

"A passionate love story and a fascinating exploration of the power of tradition and the possibilities for change, Time's Convert will delight fans of the All Souls trilogy and all readers of magic, the supernatural, and romance."

This comes after other All Souls news was announced last year: yummy Matthew Goode plays Mathew and Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies) plays Diana in the TV adaptation.

This is a great time for fans hungry for more from Ms. Harkness.  Let's hope she has plans to give Gallowglass his own happy ending in a future book. He deserves it.

In the meantime, I'll be eagerly waiting for September.
